# Signal-to-Service: one-event business marketing pilot proposal

## Signal-to-Service: one-event marketing pilot

**Causeway Public Business Services · scope and price proposal · October 22, 2026**

Your business probably has something genuinely useful to say about events happening in your industry. The difficult part is recognizing the right moment, understanding what you can credibly contribute, producing work your prospective customers find useful, and getting it in front of them before the moment passes.

**We propose a bounded, one-time marketing service that does precisely that.**

**Want to check fit before buying anything?** [Prepare a scope inquiry to Causeway Services](mailto:causeway@561.group?subject=Signal-to-Service%20scope%20inquiry%20%28public%20business%20page%29). Include your public business URL, one dated source, the intended reader's question, and any permission or timing constraint. The link opens a draft in your email app; send it when you are ready. This is an inquiry, not a checkout or a reservation of work. Scope, availability and price must be agreed before a paid engagement.

### What the pilot buyer receives

For **one qualified event** relating to your organization's own documented expertise or services, the proposed pilot produces:

1. **Market signal and claim brief.** Two or more relevant source observations where independently available; what happened, when, what your business legitimately knows, one audience problem, the closest alternative angle and the risky/misleading claims we rejected. If the event cannot be verified or is not really relevant, we'll say so before commissioning publication.
2. **Positioning and message.** One plain-language, customer-specific explanation of why the event matters to your audience and what your organization can actually help them do. No fabricated credentials, endorsements, market dominance or results.
3. **A usable publication package.** One researched original 650–1,000-word article, three genuinely distinct short social posts suitable for selected approved platforms, and one information-graphic *specification* grounded in actual content. Finished production of the graphic is separately included only after original visual-asset provider capacity, rights and price are accepted. We won't imply that raw AI art is a data-backed technical diagram.
4. **Legitimate discovery/distribution.** A channel and on-site placement plan matched to the intended reader: owned site and its ordinary SEO/GEO foundations, legitimate Atom/RSS/ActivityPub++, authorized corporate social accounts, house placements or separately approved paid media. The pilot quote covers preparation and supervised source delivery; actual public posting, ad spend and client-owned publisher access require their own consent and effect-specific authority.
5. **Review and learning.** A source/correction sheet and one evidence-based follow-up assessment seven days after the first genuinely received authorized placement, recording what was actually public, what eligible response was observed, what is unknown and what should change. No unverified “reach” estimates or attribution of external sales based on a click alone.

**Estimated pilot fee for discussion: USD $395 once.** This is a price hypothesis, not an active checkout, binding quote or proof of market willingness to pay. A specific quote must identify the actual legal seller, confirmed licensed providers, delivery capacity, intellectual-property/license terms, event/source availability, channel permissions and any outside costs. The buyer does not commit or pay merely by reading this page.

**Estimated timetable:** Source/angle qualification first; then target of five business days after acceptance of scope and inputs for the written material. Publication/reader measurement follows the client's approved channel timing and any independent publisher decisions. A time-sensitive event cannot be guaranteed to remain newsworthy.

### Begin with something free

Before paying for a pilot, try our [free event-to-customer-answer worksheet](https://services.561.group/free-event-to-customer-answer-worksheet/). It helps decide whether an event deserves a public answer at all. A good decision may be to reply privately, monitor, or do nothing. This is useful independently of any Causeway engagement.

### What we need to prepare a real quote

To discuss a possible pilot, describe:

- Your **public business website** and the specific product or service your customers can really use.
- **One dated event and a primary-source link** (or a customer question for which you lack a source).
- The **reader's real decision** the answer should support.
- Which **owned or expressly permitted publication channel** might receive the result.
- Any accessibility, terminology or timing requirements that materially affect delivery.

Use the [Causeway Services inquiry address](mailto:causeway@561.group?subject=Signal-to-Service%20scope%20inquiry%20%28public%20business%20page%29) for a **voluntary preliminary inquiry**. You choose whether to send the email. Do not attach credentials, private client records, protected cultural data, payment card details or sensitive personal information. There is no guaranteed response time, and asking does not reserve capacity.

### The service boundary

The approximate **$395** is an *introductory pricing hypothesis*, not a binding quote, payment request, invoice or live checkout. A competent seller and the prospective buyer must first agree in writing about the legal contracting party, relevant licenses and rights, accepted event and scope, actual delivery capacity, draft review and correction process, timing, cancellation/refund terms and support contact. The buyer has no obligation to proceed.

The five-business-day writing target starts only once scope and required client input have been accepted. Independently approved publication and seven-day observation are separate steps; a source draft does not prove a website, social platform or customer received anything. Paid distribution, ad account access, graphic fabrication, mailing, engagement guarantees and ranking or sales guarantees **are not included automatically**.

If the event is irrelevant, disputed beyond responsible explanation, unsupported by reputable evidence or inconsistent with a customer's legitimate rights, the responsible outcome may be to decline the campaign rather than create a convincing false story.

### A handover you can actually review

Before accepting a quote, agree on one reader and one decision. The delivery should make the following checks possible without relying on the writer's confidence:

| Part of the handover | Your acceptance check | If it cannot be met |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Event and claim brief | Open the dated primary sources; distinguish reported facts, the writer's inference and unresolved disagreement | Narrow the claim, qualify it, or decline the event before commissioning the publication package |
| Original article | The article answers the agreed reader question, represents your real work accurately and identifies a practical next step | Return a bounded list of factual or scope corrections under the agreed revision terms |
| Three short posts | Each has a distinct purpose and suitable context, preserves the article's meaning and points to its accepted primary page when available | Keep it as an unpublished draft until the correct channel and page are ready |
| Visual specification | Every quantitative or technical element has a source and communicates something the article needs | Use a simpler illustration or omit it; a finished graphic needs its own agreed provider, rights and price |
| Placement and correction record | A prepared asset, editorial approval, public URL and later correction each have their own dated record | Name the remaining publisher action; do not label a draft as a live placement |
| Follow-up | After a received placement, report the observation window, eligible denominator where available, responses and unknowns | Report unavailable measurements honestly; clicks alone do not establish inquiries or sales |

The quote should say which person accepts the writing, which channels are included, how many correction rounds are included and when the prepared package is complete. Publication and the seven-day observation start from their actual events. One accepted draft is not a promise that an independent platform will publish it.

### Questions buyers ask

#### We already have an intelligence feed or someone who writes our posts. What would this add?

Keep useful existing tools and colleagues. The pilot addresses the bounded handover between a sourced development, your organization's particular competence and a customer answer that someone can inspect and use. If your current workflow already produces that result, the free worksheet may be enough.

#### Does the pilot include monitoring every story or responding to an incident?

The proposed scope is one selected event and one publication package. Continuous monitoring, incident response, a newsroom retainer, social-account management and a response-time commitment need separately qualified services and confirmed capacity. A general inquiry does not reserve those resources.

#### Can the result include a correction to our existing page?

Yes, a written scope can make the existing page the intended receiving surface when that best serves the reader. State which claim changes, its source, who approves it and how the published correction will be checked. A new article is useful only when it supplies a distinct answer that the reader needs.

#### Do we need a new website or a new AI system?

The first question is whether your current publishing and review process can carry the result. The pilot does not require replacement infrastructure. Website implementation, integrations, paid tools and account access are separate scope decisions.

#### What if no responsible public angle survives the research?

Agree on the qualification stage, any charge for it and the stop condition before work begins. The handover should explain the unsupported connection and a useful next question. It should not quietly replace your agreed scope with a convincing but inaccurate campaign.

For other needs, the [guide to a useful next result](https://services.561.group/from-research-to-a-useful-result/) connects the existing website proposal, machine operations, research, public learning and community resources.

### How results will be assessed

A useful outcome is an accurate source-backed package the client can inspect and use in channels they actually control. We distinguish a prepared draft, editorial acceptance, publicly accessible placement, an actual inquiry, a confirmed order and cash settlement. Search rankings, leads, revenue and viral attention are not guaranteed.
